Sari to have left

The last full day in Hyderabad was absolutely the culmination of our amazing experience in the truly Incredible India!  The henna artist and palm reader were great entertainment and increased our love for Indian culture.  The evening gala was the best way to celebrate our time in India, the friends we made and all that we learned (and to show off our Indian bling!)  The night was full of fun and Indian culture with songs, skits, dances and even a fashion show!  Total immersion into the Indian culture was what made this trip truly life changing.  We didn’t just observe, we lived; and that that made this trip greater than anything we could have read in a book or seen on TV.  I hope that generations of future Cornell students are fortunate enough to have an experience like this.

The last night in India was such a great end to an amazing trip! We were able to appreciate everything that we had learned about with textiles as we watched everyone dance and stroll in their beautifully crafted saris. Like Candice said, I can only hope that other students will be able to have as much of an enchanting experience as we did. Our trip to India was truly an eye-opening, educational, and outstanding trip that will stay with me forever.
